Steve Zoni is an attorney and counselor at law, representing plaintiffs in interesting cases in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Attorney Zoni practices out of his home office in Columbia, Conn.
After practicing at some of New England’s largest, most successful plaintiffs law firms, Steve founded Zoni Law in 2020 to focus on cases affecting working people and communities, from workers’ compensation to consumer protection, dog bites to tree law. He has litigated cases and appeals in state and federal, civil and administrative courts.
Mr. Zoni is a 2013 graduate of UMass Law, with honors and awards for academic excellence and student achievement. Steve is former editor-in-chief of the UMass Law Review and a former adjunct professor of legal writing, as faculty advisor to the law review. His academic interests are statutory interpretation and First Amendment.
Steve was a summer clerk at the Office of Attorney General in Rhode Island, and interned in the State’s Attorney’s Office in Connecticut. Steve is an alumnus of Central Connecticut State University, where he majored in criminology. He formerly worked as a private investigator, investigating industrial accidents and civil matters, and was a constable, in his hometown, Southington, Conn.
Steve's avocational interests include gardening and fly fishing.
